Hello again!

 

Just a quick post today on what I had on my nails this weekend. I was going out to a Friends party on Friday night and was running late as usual so I only got one coat on them. I didn't use a base or top coat either. It's Sunday night now and I have just taken a few quick pictures of them to show you all. I have been really impressed with this polish as it hasn't got any chips. I used a pastel purple colour by miss sporty which was £1.99.

I'm back again! I managed to post 3 separate posts last weekend. It's Friday (Didn't post this to Sunday tho) again now so lets see how many I can post this weekend. Lately I have been out quite alot but haven't really seen much that I want to buy but I have picked some things that I'm going to share with you all.
 

 

1)Bobble hat, New Look - £5

- Everywhere I went I seen people wearing these types of hats and I was thinking to myself (as you do!) I should get one too and join the trend. So I went to New Look and saw this one and was just like OMG!! 5/5

 

 

2)L'Oreal matt&messy salt spray - £3.49

- Lots of people were posting pics of this on instagram and it was all over the magazines so I thought I would give it a go, but to be honest it probably wasn't my smartest move as I have poker straight, super fine hair which has no volume or curls and this just did not work for me. But I have asked for curlers for Christmas so it might come in handy. 2/5

 

3)l'Oreal hot straight spray - £3.49

- As I said above my hair is poker straight already and I have never used a pair of straighteners so again this probably wasn't my best buy but when I use it I can tell because it leaves my hair super soft and silky. 4/5

 

4)L'Oreal silk&gloss volume mousse - £3.49

- My hair is so flat and has no volume at all so I thought I would try this and it does make my hair look as though it has way more volume and I do really like it. The only problem is that I wash my hair at night as I already have to get up early for school and do not have time in the morning and after I have slept on it, my hair has gone flat again. :( 4/5

 

 

5)Charlie body spray - 84p

-Edge - Spirit -Touch

- These were on other in superdrug for such a bargain price a while back so I just had to take advantage of it, as you do... 5/5

 

 

6)Witch Blemish Stick - £2.85

- I had been wanting this for a while and finally found it and thought I would buy it. I really have not used it enough to know if it is any good or not though. 4/5

 

7)Garnier pure 3in1 mask - £??

- I had been wanted to try a mask for a while and when I saw this one on half price in my local ASDA I couldn't resist. 5/5

 

8)Tea tree nose strips - £??

- These were on 2 for £3.99 so i stocked up on them and got 2! 4/5

 

9)NYC glow in the dark nail topper - £1.25

- I was down closing up my caravan over Halloween and we went into the chemist there to get some headache tablets I think it was and I saw this, looked at the price and ran to mother and was like BUY ME THIS! Although I haven't tried it yet. ?/5

September & October Essence buys!:D

As I said before I live in the UK and finding and esssence stand near me is quite impossible other than the one I have found in my local which although it does stock essence it is nowhere near up to date. It still has the Snow White range from summer and when does change, which could be months, it will have missed many collections out that I so badly want to try. Anyway I do have most of the main collection and they have recently stocked the new polish bottle. Also I managed to pick up some perfume but that is from another chemist near where most of my family live and I hardly ever see them.

I know that many people in the UK are unable to buy essence and I know that I cannot get alot of stuff but I can get more than some can and I was wondering if I should start doing like a blog sale sorta thing of essence products that I talk about so you can try it as well?? :0

 

October favourites!:D

I know I did not to a favourites last month but to be honest I just didn't have anything to show, but now I have quite a few.

 

1)L'oreal studio volume mousse - £3.49

- If you don't know already my hair is as flat as a pancake and super thin so I can do hardly anything with it. :( I was out in superdrug with my friend at the start of the month and saw that there was a 2 for £3.99 offer on all the L'oreal studio line (hint were the second product came from) which was just too hard to miss. Although I do love this mousse and it does give me a little extra volume and I do LOVE my hair when I blow dry it using this, I usually shower  at night before school and by the time I sleep on my hair it has gone flat again. 4/5

 

2)L'oreal studio hot straight spray - £3.49

- To be honest I don't know why I even got this as my hair is naturally poker straight (also part of my problem) and the only person who uses straighteners on my hair is the hairdressers. But I did and i am glad. It makes such a difference, it makes my hair look soft and silky and i just LOVE it. 5/5

 

3)Original source lemon shower gel - £2.10

Not really much to say about this as it's just a basic shower gel and the only reason it's in here is the smell, it's smells class! 4/5

 

4)Charlie spirit body spray - 84p

- I'm not sure how much these are normally but they were on offer at the bargain price of 84p in superdrug for ages and I picked up quite a few but this is my favourite by far. 5/5

 

5)Garnier 3in1 wash, scrub & mask - £5.99

- I had been wanted to try a face mask for a while and when I seen this one on offer in superdrug I just had to get it. It can also be used as a wash or scrub but I only use it as a mask a couple of times a week. 4/5

 

6)Essence perfume - £3.79 each

I actually found another essence stand when I was visiting family at the start of the month and they had the perfume range and I was just like OMG!:O I got 2 and have been using them no stop this month. 5/5

 

7)Witch blemish stick - £2.85

- I have been meaning to try this for a while after seeing a couple of reviews on it and thought it looked pretty good. I was just in superdrug having a wee look one day when I spotted a half price sign beside and was like I'm getting this NOW! Anyway it works wonders and has quickly become a new favourite. 5/5

 

8)DKNY perfume - ??

- I got this last Christmas and it has become one of my favourite perfumes but recently I have been wearing it alot more than I used to.

 

9)No7 blush brush - 99p

- This came as part of a Christmas set last year but I didn't get the set I found a seller on ebay who was selling this brush on its own for 99p and I was like sure i'll get that. I do normally use it for my bronzer as I don't wear blusher that often but recently I have been LOVING the way it applies my powder. 4/5

 

10) Secret circle book part 1 - Library

- Although I don't normally read that many books I found this at my local library and remembering hearing my friend talk about so I thought I would give it a go and it's quite a good wee book.

October empties!:D

Another month gone, it's getting closer and closer to Christmas and i cannot wait!! I have finished quite a lot of products this month about 15.

 

1)Clearasil ultra rapid action toner - £5.35

- I love this stuff!! I use 2 or 3 times a day: when i wash my face in the morning, when i get out of the shower and before i go to bed. Which may seem like a lot of times but it helps to keep my skin clear and that's about it. 5/5

 

2)Clearasil overnight serum - £1

- I couldn't find this on superdrugs website so I can't tell you if they still sell but I got mine in poundland back in the summer. I used this all over my blemish prone areas and just blended out over the rest of my face and although it wouldn't be my favourite product but I do think I would buy it again. 4/5

 

3)Clinique all about eyes sample - ??

- I found this in the back of my Mums drawer and thought I would give it a try. It was only a sample size but to be honest it was quite enough for me as I didn't like it at all. It was really greasy/oily, it didn't dry quickly and most of all it did not work! Although I did like the packaging...LoL 1/5

 

4)T-zone nose strips - £6

I got this in tesco a while back when I ran out and my Mum had to get me more! They were on the pricey side for nose strips and I didn't think they worked at all. 2/5

 

1)TCP - £3

Just a basic bottle of TCP which I used to clean my ears when I got them pierced earlier in the summer.

 

2)Cotton pads - £1 for a twin pack

Just simple cotton pads for taking of my nail polish, make up and for my toner.

 

1)Alberto Balsalm conditioner - £1

I used to love this conditioner as well as the shampoo to match but recently I have gone off it and have changed back to the L'oreal one, but you will still be seeing this one in my empties as I have some bottles to use up. 3/5

 

2)L'oreal elvive shampoo - £3.99

(old formula)

I found this a while back when I was clearing out the cupboard and was like maybe I should try this again, so I did and then I fell in LOVE with it! It made my hair feel so soft and silky. Then I was in Tesco with my Mum a couple of days later and found it was on offer so I picked a shampoo and conditioner to try. 5/5

 

3)L'oreal elvive conditioner - £3.99

(new formula)

Just the same as I said about the shampoo above but they have changed the packaging and the formula but I still love it. 5/5

MUA Haul:D

Hello! Today i have a little haul to share with all about my order I placed at the weekend of MUA products. I placed the order last Sunday (30/09/12) and received it on Friday (5/10/12) which isn't to bad I suppose. I mainly only wanted the nail constellation but I thought I would pick up some Nail polish as well. If I spent over £10 and entered the code I got two love hearts nail polishes and a lip balm free so I thought that was pretty good.

The only product I have tried so far is the lip balm and it was not good. packaging was cheap looking, didn't smell good and when applied was very sticky. The nail constellation looked a bit smaller than I thought they would be and I love the colours of all the polishes. Talk soon... Rach<3

I Buy Shoes!

Quite an odd title, I know. It's true. I do love to shop and shop for shoes. Which means when I find shoes identical to converse high tops I just have to get not one but TWO pairs of them and a pair of playboys!

 

Got two pairs in black and navy and got them both in sports direct who were having a MASSIVE 50% sale so they were reduced to £5 each! I just LOVE them! The grey playboy ones were £15 so a little pricey but they are so comfy, it's unreal!
